Any Power Manager equivalent software?

#1 Post by animefans » Thu Mar 05, 2009 4:37 pm

There are alot of things I like about Power Manager
- Battery Maintenance. You can tell it when to charge, and when not to. This will help with the cycle count, and extend battery life (am I right?)
- nice status indicator telling you remaining battery time (or %)
- Scheme/Plan/Setting/whatever you call it. I think base Windows provide similar functionality, and Power Manager just give more options
- detail battery information. Nice to have, but not required

IF I switch to another OS, like Linux, can I find something similar to Power Manager?
