Onscreen display isn't working

After a reimage of my T400 with Vista Business, I noticed that none of the Volume, brightness, etc showes up on screen anymore. I could have sworn I saw it after the reinstall of everything, but I may be wrong. Any ideas? I already reinstalled power management driver, and hotkey driver as per Lenovo Support. Still nothing. Volume is working by the way, along with all other controls, just the display issue.

Don´t forget Lenovo System Interface Driver

But to be honest I don´t believe your problem will be solved that easily ->

I’ll ask the “Duh” Question: are both tponscr.exe and tposdsyc.exe running? If not, start them both and see what happens. On my machine tposdsyc.exe runs at startup (registry entry) and the On Screen Display works fine.

There is a bug with changing the font or color in the current version of OSD. It's a pretty glaring bug for Lenovo to still release it, but it's there. It usually raises its head if you change the font or color, but it disappeared on me after an upgrade too. I had to do a registry edit (think I saw how in a thread on notebookreview) to get it back to the default size and color.
