which newish thinkpads can have palm rests with no touchpad?

I know the T4* line and the x4* accept palmrests with no touchpad. What I'm curious about is which of the newer models (say, last four years) can have no-touchpad palmrests, if not from the factory then maybe with some home modification?

I love thinkpads, but I don't like touchpads -- and as I'm thinking of an upgrade, I'm wondering if I should just max out my T40, or start looking at other lines of laptops.

On my T42, I can disable the TouchPad in the BIOS or with UltraNav in Windows. I imagine it's the same in the newer models. I don't like the TouchPad either, but it doesn't bother me that much to look at it (I do have it disabled).

Same here, it's disabled and forgotten about.

The X6-series and X200-series laptops lack touchpads.

Some of the R series come with no TouchPad. My cousin has a R61e with the TrackPoint only.

Can someone confirm if the T40 palmrest with no touchpad can be swapped into a T43? Both 14" LCD. I thought not, but just want to check as there's a good deal on a T43 locally here.

eta: I forgot I could compare FRUs from the hardware manuals -- it looks like only a couple of models of T43 can take the palmrest without touchpad. Oh well ;D.
