Projector and Docking Station

I'm recommending my company switch from HP to Lenovo X series. The last two questions my supervisor asked me to answer are below. Please advise if you can.
Projector: One issue with HP laptops was on projectors they didn't output to both the laptop and projector at the same time (I forgot what "mode" it's called). On Lenovo's can somebody verify this will not be the case?
Docking Station: Are any Lenovo users with a docking station familiar with this? When laptop users here eject their laptops from their docking stations (like at 11am to go to a meeting) it would be great if their laptops automatically re-synced to the network when they are re-inserted into the docking station. Currently laptop users have to hit "synchronize" or some icon after re-docking. We would love to know if Lenovo users also experience this.
