Outlie in red w/ the exception of Fn on creen and RR.
Mobile Broadband. Ok my model supposedly has WWAN feature built-in so is this it?? Is this the thing that make it so??
The net frame, since logically speaking 2.0 is higher than 1.1 should I uninstall 1.1??
C+++, do I rrly need it?? I dont do any C+++ programing so what's is this for??
MSXML, again what the heck are these?? Do I need it?? (That is what are they usually needed for??)
RICOH has to do w/ the card reader 5 in 1 something, so I supposed that is necessary.
And lastly, the Bluetooth. Is that a main program or additional enchantment to Bluetooth (like Access Connection, just ADDITION to WIndow's). If it is then would it be wise for me to remove??
Thanks

No. .NET does not encompass previous versions (except for the service updates, ie 1.1 supersedes 1.0, however 2.0 does not supersede 1.1). Look at this graphic on wikipedia for an illustration. Each new release of .NET builds more functionality on top of the previous release, but does NOT include the functionality in the previous release.Ahura-sama wrote:The net frame, since logically speaking 2.0 is higher than 1.1 should I uninstall 1.1??

You need it if you intend on running any programs that are built using certain C++ libraries. Not all installations of programs built with C++ contain all the library files. Most just assume (or require) you to have the Visual C++ Runtime installed (instead of including the .dll files). Saves space for the software's installer package.Ahura-sama wrote: C+++, do I rrly need it?? I dont do any C+++ programing so what's is this for??
If you're not running any applications that require this, you can safely remove it. Read your application's pre-requisites to see. Good luck with that.
Wikipedia is your friend.Ahura-sama wrote: MSXML, again what the heck are these?? Do I need it?? (That is what are they usually needed for??)

Again, if you're not running any applications that require MSXML, you can safely remove this. Read your application's pre-requisites to see. Good luck with that.Microsoft XML Core Services (MSXML) is a set of services that allow applications written in JScript, VBScript, and Microsoft development tools to build Windows-native XML-based applications. It supports XML 1.0, DOM, SAX, an XSLT 1.0 processor, XML schema support including XSD and XDR, as well as other XML-related technologies.
Correct. This is the driver for the 5 in 1 media card reader.Ahura-sama wrote: RICOH has to do w/ the card reader 5 in 1 something, so I supposed that is necessary.
This is the driver for the Bluetooth module. IIRC, Windows XP SP2 supports Bluetooth 1.0 (1 Mbit/sec) natively (natively means no additional drivers are required). With Bluetooth 2.0 (plus the Enhanced Data Rate, 3 Mbit/sec), an additional driver is required to provide that functionality (above and beyond what is included with Windows XP SP2).Ahura-sama wrote:And lastly, the Bluetooth.
