buying a new thinkpad - today or wait?

#1 Post by ThinkPad R » Sun Jun 07, 2009 6:07 pm

Hello everyone. I'd like to buy a new ThinkPad for college, and today is the last day that Lenovo's having the 15% off sale, but I'm hoping that Lenovo will drop its prices down even to 20% off eventually. And then I heard about this warehouse sale that Lenovo's having for people living around North Carolina...

Does that mean that Lenovo won't be having the 20% off, and 15% off will be the lowest as the discounts will go?

I'm looking for a T400 with 2.4GHz, 2GB, 256MB graphics, 160GB HDD, CDRW/DVD, Intel wifi 5100, and 9 cell battery. I might even have to change my name from ThinkPad R to ThinkPad T :)

Check our TechDEALS forum, or Lenovo Outlet, or see what's available in our Marketforum.

Thanks for telling me about those 3 places, and I checked them out but I didn't find anything I'd want to buy.

look for coupons online, and don't order over the phone. Lenovo reps tend to make mistakes. 2/4 times i got a wrong order.
