Free live active spyware protection?

I changed Internet provider (quest to Cox) and with it I lost my McAffee live protection. Is there any free recommended software out on the Web that will protect my PC? I am using Windows XP pro edition.

I use Avira AntiVir antivirus software. They have a free version. http://www.free-av.com/

I also have spybot installed, but I do not use it's active protection, although it's available.
