Video: Apple proclaims awesomeness of iPhone joining the 20th Century
by John Hobbes, posted 07/1/09 9:31 AM
I know some people reading this blog don’t care for Apple related stuff, but this was too funny not to share. Below is a promo created by Apple about the recent updates to the iPhone, specifically the copy/paste feature. Congratulations Apple, you finally added a feature standard in most smartphones for a long time and standard on all your other iPhones, not just the 3GS.

Funny. It is an issue when I switch laptops. If there were a way to retask them on my T61, I'd have probably doe it to fix the problem.

While I like the keys where they are and would rather they stayed where they are (merely because I'm used to it), it's nothing I can't get used to. Besides, are there any other laptops that have the same Fn/Ctrl layout as a TP? Maybe a smallll handful? If the change makes TPs more appealing to the masses, I'm for it. Makes me think I should change my opinion in that other thread about keys being switched.

If they switch these two keys, I'm done with ThinkPads. Period.

Enabling a switch in BIOS (like on Panasonic Let's Note which also uses Phoenix BIOS) would be a welcome change though, since I do understand where many users are coming from requesting the change...

I hope that would include being done with passing on your wisdom on the forum.

Now how am I supposed to understand this statement... :help:

Coming from you, I'll take it as a compliment... :thumbs-UP:

I'd definitely be done with their forum, as much as I like and respect Mark Hopkins and a couple of other people there....

I'll stay here, on this forum, as long as Bill M. and the rest of Admins/Mods are willing to tolerate me...and I'll keep a couple of "vintage" ThinkPads...those with Fn key at the lower left corner...and no windows key... :)

Which is exactly the way it was intended.

I don't claim to be a marketing expert. It's possible Lenovo is making appropriate changes to deal with current and future demand. It's possible they're not. Only time will tell.

In the meantime, I'm just glad there are a lot of T4x's and T6x's out thre so I can replace mine when needed.
