Client Security Solutions: Can't see enrolled Fingerprints?

#1 Post by hellosailor » Sun Jul 19, 2009 8:04 am

I think it was about 2-3 weeks ago that I did a number of updates including the ones for the fingerprint reader and CSS (which pops up to manage passwords). At no time did I have any problem with the fingerprint reader (after a restart) and my enrolled fingerprints still access the computer. But last week the new CSS screen started popping up to place passwords on web sites--and it won't recognize my fingerprints, it claims there are no fingerprints ENROLLED.

So I went back and re-enrolled all of my fingerprints. No joy, the CSS pop-up apparently is looking for fingerprints in a second/wrong place, and this comes form the latest updates.

Anyway know where to hit this one with an ugly stick, and get it to pay attention again?

OS is Vista/32/Ultimate, if that matters.
