Access Connections and switching access points

#1 Post by hodad » Thu Sep 17, 2009 6:57 pm

I have been having trouble with my laptop (Z61) finding and switching to the closest wireless access point. Since the main router is at one end of the house I have added an access point at the other end. (The signal was very weak without it). My Z61 seems to have trouble finding and switching to the new access point automatically when the laptop is moved from one end of the house to the other. My T61 has no problem. Is there something I can do in Access Connections to facilitate this?

Help would be much appreciated! Thanks.
