Does anyone have any experience with this Lenovo keyboard?
http://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-ThinkPlus- ... =8-1-spell
It's "Think" branded, so not sure if this is just a regular keyboard, or if there's something special about it. The Amazon comments are... interesting(mostly positive)
I'm thinking(no pun) about getting one, as the blue Enter key is quite good looking.

It's a nice keyboard. Good feedback, classic layout.
I prefer the
Thinkplus Enhanced USB Keyboard. It has back/forward buttons, media buttons, six programmable buttons and a 2-port USB hub. It feels great to type - soft, but excellent feedback. It seems to handle multiple simultaneous keypresses quite well (unlike some of the cheap keyboards).
The negative things (to me these are minor):
* USB hub is 2.0 but only 1.1 speeds
* I find that I sometimes need to press Ctrl/Shift/Alt harder than I think I need for them to register. Mostly takes time getting used to. By now I almost never drop these anymore.
* Paint on keys does not last - after several months it already begins to fade a bit on the most used keys.
* Keyboard driver for extra buttons is buggy and crashes under Vista, if the first button you press after loading the driver is a media button (it's a user-mode driver, so you just need to restart the application).

I'm also a fan of the Thinkpad Plus Enhanced USB Keyboard. The key action is great. After a year of daily use, its showing some wear (worn keys) but still functioning just fine. The lack of proper USB 2.0 support is annoying, but better than no ports at all.
I had a similar experience as dr_st did with the buggy driver. This was under XP and happened rarely. I recently installed a new hard drive and hadn't installed the IBM driver yet. Windows updated picked up a driver automatically. I'm waiting to see if I have any problems with it. So far so good.

Thanks for the info guys.
Actually I was looking for a keyboard w/o all the multimedia keys, so the Preferred Pro USB is a better fit for me. I'll be using this keyboard on a non-Think-branded machine.
In terms of the key action, would you say it's mushy, or quiet compared to other keyboards you've used? I know this is a subjective thing, so just let me know what you think.
Thanks
