Does anyone know anything bout laptop cooler?
I'm thinking of getting one for my brother t41, which gets hot after playing game for 5 mins and restart itself. Will the laptop cooler really works? I hope that you guys can recommend me brand that you use

A T41 should not get so hot that it restarts itself.

What game is your brother running? Can you run other 3D intensive software without a crash? Try 3DMark2001 SE or 3DMark03 and see if that works.
Homebuilt PC: AMD Athlon XP (Barton) @ 1.47 GHz; nForce2 Ultra; 1GB RAM; 80GB HDD @ 7200RPM; ATI Radeon 9600; Integrated everything else!

He's running Leisure Suit Larry. We can play for just like 5 mins then it restarts. Other than running the game, the thinkpad never restart itself. Run smoothly even though its on most of the time. Yeah maybe I will ask him to run 3Dmark.

So does Laptop cooler works? I'm thinking of getting it for my T42 which I'm getting this Thursday. Does anyone here who own a thinkpad use laptop cooler?

I bought a new laptop cooler at a swap meet for $17.00. It runs its four fans from a USB connection (no batteries or external power needed). I use it with my T30, not that it ever ran hot, when I'm at home. I don't take it on the road. I don't know if it does any good, but it can't be harmful either, I guess.
