Hi all,

I've read the FAQ, and lots of posts regarding solutions for cleaning an LCD screen.

Before going to buy a more obvious product, i'm interested in knowing if anyone uses the "See Clear lens cleaning tissues". I've used them on a couple of laptops before (compaq and sony), and they worked perfectly. But I don't know if my T42p has any material in the display which will be affected by the chemicals in the tissues.

The package says "Contains alcohol" but it doesn't say what kind of alcohol. I don't want to ruin the screen, just being careful.

Anyways, here's description of this product:

See clear lens cleaning tissues

Thanks!

Does it contain alcohol as an ingredient?

It contains Isopropyl Alcohol and thats exactly what the Laptop manual says you should clean with.

I use Opti-Max
This is simply the best cleaner I have found. The sceen is perfectly clean and absolutlely no streaks. I use it on the screen, keyboard and the top and bottom covers.

Thanks for your replies.

BTW, I've just read the sticky thread by Bill about not posting general questions.

Maybe my original question would be about T models, i don't know.

Since I have a T42p, with flexview, I was asking about using the mentioned cleaner with this kind of screen.

Maybe the T42ps have some kind of finish which would be damaged with alcohol based products?

Thanks, and/or sorry.

I use microfiber stuff and I clean only a dust very carefully.
