Help! My R60e won't turn on

the power lamp is lighting, but nothing happanes when i press the on button.
it happaned just like that in the middle of working.
any ideas?

If I were you I'd download the DOS version of PC Doctor from lenovo/IBM website for your machine type, turning it into a bootable CD, and try booting from that. Then run diagnostics.

An alternative is to download a Linux OS such as Ubuntu, make a bootable CD and try booting from that.

If neither of these paths work then you are in a mess with a capital F.
