old software versions?

Ever since I bought my T60p it has come out of standby in the middle of the morning. There was a brief period between July and September of this year that it did not do this, and during this period I was running the previous version of the power management driver. A couple of weeks ago I did a system update, a new version of the driver was installed, and the machine has started coming out of standby again. Worse is that the laptop crashes with an "interrupt storm" STOP error every time it does this. I would really like to go back to the prior version of the power management driver, but I can't find it on the IBM/Lenovo support site. Is there a secret archive somewhere that would have this?

Thanks

What version are you running now, and for what operating system? That would help with figuring out what you need to roll back to.

I don't see a way to query the driver version without using the power manager, which is not currently installed (tried thinning down unneeded software first). However the Lenovo download is v1.64 released Nov 6 (which would fit into my problem timeline) link.

Operating system is 32-bit XP/SP3

Look at the .XML file (double-click on it) in the subdirectory of C:\Drivers\Win\LenovoPM. I am guessing at the directory tree since I have a T42 - not a T60p. The .XML files in the subdirectories of C:\Drivers gives the driver name and version in that exists in that directory.

On the IBM ThinkPads, there was a directory called IBMTOOLS that has all the original factory installed apps and driver installation programs. There may be a similar directory in the newer Lenovo ThinkPads.
