Battery Build Date?

#1 Post by vwmurph » Sun Feb 20, 2005 12:48 pm

I'm looking on E-Bay for a new IBM battery for my T30, but I dont want one thats been sitting on the shelf for a couple years. The seller has sent me the serial# 11SO2K7034Z1Z51T39909B. Is there any way to tell how old it is without putting it in my computer. Thanks

Will the battery be damaged if it has been not used for long time?

I think there's no "right" way, the batteries are limited, there's no way around it.

Unfortunately yes  The worst thing you can do with your li-ion is shelf it for a long time.
Let's go'n'restart :-)
