Hi all,

Happy happy 2010 !

2 issues under Windows 7:

1.
I have this keyboard (and love it):

It used to work quite perfectly in windows 7 until drivers got updated by Windows Update (I believe). I restored the old drivers (I think) but now the trackpad and trackpoint still don't work anymore. And the blue function-keys doe not work as well (it's just a plain standard keyboard). I can't find any Windows 7 / Vista drivers anywhere. HELP !?

With the restored drivers it looks like this:

With the new one it LOOKS better, but performs the same.

2.
My Bluetooth switches off everytime I reboot windows. I checked BIOS settings and Windows bluetooth settings and power saving settings but can't find anything to make it turn ON automatically. HELP 2?!

After following http://lnv.lithium.com/t5/Windows-7-Dis ... 6708447B9E the function keys are back (although i don't get the green bar when changing the volume for example)...

Device manager now looks like this:


Trackpoint and pad still don't work .


And issue 2. is still not solved either ...

Have you (re)installed the Hotkey driver? That's required for the volume showing.
No ideas on BT, I don't use it.

I have the same Bluetooth problem using Win XP SP3. Nobody has been able to supply an answer. I have searched Windows knowledge database and IBM/Lenovo support pages with no success. It is merely an annoyance, however it is rather irritating.

And on the Lenovo forum they mention: Go into BIOS, restore all default values, and it works!

Thank you for that tip. I restarted and entered BIOS, used F9 to restore defaults, and since then Bluetooth has stayed on.

Seems to work indeed!

Now I only miss my trackpoint and -pad on the external keyboard. Anyone?

Yes that helped!

I uninstalled all drivers through the hardware manager and uninstalled all Lenovo touchpad and keyboard software from the Programs and features.

Then I installed the drivers provided on the page you just mentioned.

In Windows 7 I had to install it from:
C:\Drivers\KYB\v2kyb03us17\WinWDF\x86\dpinst.exe
And:
C:\Drivers\KYB\v5kyb04us17\vista\x86\setup.exe
