does the Dock II require its own power adapter?

Hi everyone,

I am considering buying one of these:

However, a picture I saw on ebay shows a "three-hole" power connector, which is very different from the one that plugs into my X31:

Does a Dock II require its own power adapter (different from the one that works with a X31)?

Many thanks for any clarification,

lara

No separate power adapter is required. Just a standard Thinkpad 3 prong plug.

Thank you, Harry! Would it be insane to try using an generic (non-Thinkpad) power cable that fits? Now that you told me what it is, I realize I have a couple lying around.

Any power cable, that will fit into the slot will do.
