Thunky Spacebar on PN 42T3109 Keyboard

I got an keyboard here that has a thunky spacebar. It's got a nice feel to all keys but the spacebar is a little too loud for me. It seems to bottom out and *THUNK*

I'm wondering if anyone else has the same type of keyboard and if their spacebar is the only button that makes a *thunk* sound.

What's that FRU go to? A quick search here and on Google don't show anything relevant...

The only spacebars that I have that go "thunk" are the ones in my Model M and M13 keyboards and I like it that way.

Hi Andy. I corrected the title. I believe it's for the T61 NMB keyboard. All the other keys don't have a long travel and bottom out. They have a nice feedback. I wasn't sure if I got a keyboard that was defective in someway is all. I'm trying out the spacebar on my Chicony and that has a slightly different feel to it. It doesn't bottom out.

I have that very same keyboard in my T60.
No funny feelings or 'thunks', but then, my KB is still as good as brand new.
