Two questions regarding the flexview screens 1) are the sxga+ (#92p6680)IDTECH- from r51, r52, t42, t43 and (92p6761 and 13n7078)- from t42, t43, t60 LG-Phillips 15" screens interchangeable ? 2) Can I use either in a r52 or r60 ? any mods needed? Current r52 and r60 have xga 1024x768 - thanks.

I've never had a R52, but its similar enough to the R51. T42/T43 and R50/R51 flexviews are interchangeable. You need the specific inverter and cable though. R52 models did not have flexview.
The R60 requires a panel with the proper EDID chip. From what I understand most older flexviews do not have this.

I threw in a spare 15" DBU IPS LCD from an A31 (SXGA+) into a R60e when I was building a FrankenPad for my boys, and got nowhere. A LG Phillips from a T60 fired right away and has been working great ever since.
R52 is a great machine for an IPS upgrade, but do bear in mind that Intel-based ones will not drive an UXGA LCD, just a SXGA+ one.

The SXGA+ FlexView works in the R60 and R60e. I've done both, but I believe you have to use a T60 screen. There was a post from another user a few years back saying they put the UXGA in the R60e. I PM'd them, but never got a reply back. The part numbers for the T60 SXGA+ screens would be:
LG - 13N7078
Hydis - 13N7196
