Lenovo logo on the top of display lid

The Lenovo logo isn't on top of my new X200 (manufactured 12/09), which is great!
Is it gone for good? Since when?
Just curious...

Don't know the answer to your question, but as a data point, my X200 has the Lenovo logo and a Thinkpad sticker on it's lid, and was manufactured 12/4/2009.

My new T510 is also devoid of the Lenovo logo that was present on my T500 lid.
I like the new clean look, with the ThinkPad logo being the only accent on top of the smooth clean lid.

Still there on the X301, albeit very dark with no reflective white paint on it. The ThinkPad logo is also there on the corner. Manufactured 6/2009.

My X200 is a UK model, maybe it has something to do with it, who knows.

My X200s purchased from Lenovo UK last December also lacks the Lenovo logo on the lid. Much nicer without it (not snobbish about Lenovo, just nicer cleaner and more functional lines and obviously closer to the original ThinkPad design).

I just ordered a X201 and I hope it comes with the lenovo logo, I actually like it!
