New GOBI WWAN for Dell, Lenovo soon? Upgrading T400s?

Apparently, Qualcomm will be shipping some new products that will be compatible with LTE, along with CDMA - Rev. A and HSPA. The press release only mentions Dell and says nothing about whether current Dell owners with WWAN embedded cards may be able to upgrade to the new Qualcomm card when it's available. I am hopeful that Lenovo will allows this option when (I'm assuming) they start dealing with these cards.

It doesn't say when they'll be available, but my understanding is that Vz Wireless has announced they're going to light up LTE in about 25 markets by the end of 2010.
