Kill the Win+P hotkey!
Kill the Win+P hotkey!
I just got my W510, and while setting it up I noticed that something on this laptop is mapping Win+P to the same thing as Fn+F7, which is a popup selection of choices for a second monitor. Unfortunately, I install an app on all my computers that sets up its own action for Win+P, but it can't work now because of this. Does anyone have any idea how I can disable this useless hotkey (since Fn+F7 does the same thing!), or what program causes it so I can at least force my app to load before it?
Re: Kill the Win+P hotkey!
It seems I posted too soon. After googling "win p hotkey", it looks like it's a new Windows 7 hotkey (or Vista, I don't know because I skipped that version). I'm far less optimistic, but if anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them. If I had done that google search sooner, I would've posted in a more general Windows forum.
