My R60 has been running perfect. It has the Celeron M410 1.46 cpu. Perfect for my families school work. Now I get a message stating that it detects battery failure. The battery has failed due to normal wear. The battery cannot be recharged. (It has about 28wh left! acording to power Manager). Replace the battery.. :(

What happened? I switched the battery to my T60 and received the same message. I ordered a new one off Ebay but how can this be dead? orange light flashing...and still have 28Wh left..

Appreciate any info on this,
Ron

Ron, it's a common enough error that Lenovo put out a statement about it ... http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... 67765.html
Unfortunately you are past the expiration of the offer to replace.
