Which fingers do you use to operate TrackPoint?

I always used my middle finger but recently I started feeling some pain so now I try to use both middle and index. It feels kinda awkward so I figured it would be interesting to know how others use it.
Also, is there anyone using it with two hands and NOT using the thumb to press the buttons?

Most of the time with index, sometimes with middle, sometimes with the other hand (like during scrolling when accuracy is not important).

I don't think I've ever used anything other than my index finger on the trackpoint and thumb on the buttons. I'm right handed so usually use the right hand on the trackpoint, but have occasionally used my left hand, but still index finger and thumb.

Same here...right handed and I use my index finger and thumb.

Middle, index is for space.

Thanks guys for your input. I'm happy to see I'm not the only one that used middle finger only. I'm slowly getting accustomed to using both middle and index.
Also glad nobody voted for TouchPad
