Hi guys,
I have a X300 with a 64G SSD, originally it had XP as well as Vista, but i decided that Win7 was the go and formated the harddrive. I knowingly deleted a small section as well (partition) which as it turns out was needed by the IBM/Lenovo recovery software to perform backups. Can someone instruct me what is the best way to fix this problem so that I can use R&R.
Regards Tony
A quick Question re: R&R
Re: A quick Question re: R&R
You need to rebuild the recovery parttition to use R&R, and that would be a waste of space on such a nice (but small) SSD. Get some cloning or back-up software and use that instead. Windows 7 has a decent backup utility built in.
Re: A quick Question re: R&R
Thanks Harry,
Good advice, I will use an alternative image software as well as back up my drivers/Lenovo software as wel to an external hard drivel.
Thanks again
