Hi, My old laptop is on the way out, and I have decided to get myself a Lenovo. Well, now comes my question, I do have limited founds, so I can decided if I should go for an Edge 15"(4GB/500Gb/7200rpm) or a T510i(2GB/250Gb/3200rpm), both with the i5 proc. They are priced allmost the same here. itś mostely light use, but there is times where I have to do a little video and audio conversion, and some DTP and photo editing. But that is maybe in 5% of the time. Hope for a little help

I'd vote for the T510i if this were a democracy.

This might help to make your decision:
Why Edge is not a Thinkpad?

That I will

But it will be a little biased...right now I´m holding very hard ewith my thumb and idexfinder around the edge ogf my screen on my 3 yo Medion laptop. If I move my finger one inch - the screen freezes ..it really hurts

But I´ll get back when I have recieved it - Just got the shipment details, so it will be here tomorrow

Well, after some days with my new "baby", I´ll think I will tell a little about my first impressions.
It´s a 510i, i5 with 4Gb ram.
My first impression after installing win7, was - what a crappy touchpad....
Well, after running the usual updates ect., I looked at the touchpad settings again, and after some tweaking here it works like a charm. I don´t know what to say - I´m just normally used to that a touchpad can accept double and single tap right out of the box.
OK - this is all I can complain about. It is the best machine I have had in my hands for a very long time. Keyboard is like ..well butter is not the right description - but it´s just so smooth and pleasant to use. Everything is just working ! That´s final.
No flex, no noise, no bling - just as a laptop should be.
