Keyboard Comparison
In the past I've been happy with keyboards on the 390x, 600x, and T41.
Do all of the current line of Thinkpads use comparable keyboards? I was considering the T Series but resisting the prices on the L, SL, and Edge Series is tough!

Re: Keyboard Comparison
Well, the L/SL use different layouts compared to "traditional" Thinkpads (T/W/X series). The Edge is an "island" type keyboard, with the individual keys separated from the others. Whether it's good, better or worse is for the user to judge, but there are significant differences between these and the keyboards you were used to.

Re: Keyboard Comparison
With the exception of the layouts are the L/SL keyboards the same in terms of key feel and construction as the T series?
Re: Keyboard Comparison
To the same extent that the construction and feel is the same across the entire T-series... That is, it is not 100% identical, but the basics are the same.

Re: Keyboard Comparison
Not entirely sure but I'm thinking the T, W, X, and 300X series are the only keyboards that have the drain holes for accidental liquid spills.
