Hi, I have a quick question. I have an R61 with nvidia 140M that I am trying to tune by undervolting the CPU to lower system temperature. I have installed both of these utilities, TPFanControl and CPUID HwMon. with the default configuration, the hwmon program reports the gpu temperature being 12C hotter than tpfancontrol reports .. I have adjusted the fpfancontrol.ini to add 12C to the gpu reading, and now the gpu temperature is what generally turns the fan on/off in the auto mode. My question is, is the hwmon temperature the accurate one? or is tpfancontrol regarded as being accurate?
btw I was able to undervolt my t8300 to 1.0375v @ 12x, stable for 3 hour cpu stress test, going to 1.0250v resulted in immediate bsod.
more accurate temperatures ... TPFanControl or CPUID HwMon?
