Any other pros/cons for purchasing directly from Lenovo?
Pro: Most recent hardware config, customization
Con: Long wait time (saying 11 days to ship on a T510)

The "Pro" you have there is pretty good as-is. Also add promotions and codes to take off some $, and Lenovo's outlet is appealing too.
Right now, if I were to go retail....well, STAPLES dropped ThinkPads, and BestBuy only has an Edge, SL and the Lenovo IdeaPad models. Office Depot still carries them via delivery, but it's rare for them to offer promo codes/coupons on tech, and so I would still go with Lenovo.

No concerns about warranty/extension. A lot of eBay sellers are a bit slimy about the warranties on their products; at least a few years ago, a one- or two-month factory warranty was still in effect, with an upgrade to a Squaretrade warranty possible; these third-party warranties really aren't very good compared to what amounts to the nearly no-questions-asked warranty service Lenovo provides. If you buy straight from the big L, you know exactly what you're getting and eligible for.
