Video Problem on R60 (17k jpg attached)

Hi,
I have an R60 with a video display problem which shows up as stripes of speckles on the screen and flakes of snow on the initial boot screen.
When the PC is plugged into the TV, the display shows the same symptoms.
I presume therefore it is not an screen issue but something to do with the video card or memory.

Is this fixable on the R60 and if so how?

There is no 'video card' in an R60. The symptoms described and shown are indicative of a defective GPU. The fix is to replace the systemboard.
