Do any of the current Thinkpads, particularly X2** or T4** series, have the option for digital audio (optical) output? I'm guessing not, but I can't even find a mention of it anywhere.

The first model that had digital audio out (SPDIF coax) was the T60, but only while docked. Some later models have Digital audio out through the HDMI interface or via a displayport to HDMI cable.
