OK, I have replaced my T60 UXGA LCD and I just received my new W500.

With two brand spanking new displays what I need to know is the recommended way to clean the screens.

I use this, highly recommended: http://www.scottsliquidgold.com/clean-s ... ducts.html
I got the $7.99 bottle with the microfiber cloth.

OK, I'm in Guatemala and my chances of getting anything commercial like that down here are slim & none.

what kind of more generic type cleaning solution would work without damaging the display face?

Reason I ask is, I'd always used eyeglass cleaner on my (old) T60 screen with a cloth baby diaper. Even though it was designed for plastic lenses apparently it wasn't as 'neutral' acting as I assumed.

any other recommendation(s)?

I use a mixture of 50% distilled water and 50% distilled white vinegar with a microfiber cloth. One light spray on the LCD and buff until dry with the microfiber. Works perfectly.
