Any way to 'loosen' up external keyboard key action ?

#1 Post by AMATX » Mon Mar 07, 2011 4:37 pm

Hello all - I just picked up a Lenovo external USB wired keyboard to use with my Thinkpad. Part number 55Y9003. Here's the Lenovo description:

While I really like this thing, the key action is a bit too heavy/strong, and in particular, the left mouse clicker right below the center space bar is -very- stiff and heavy. So much so that I often mistype and don't get it depressed when I mean to.

So, has anyone out there ever tried to loosen up the action on a keyboard? And, if so, how'd you do it?

I have a second(same) keyboard on the way and will be interested to see if it's as stiff as this one. Regardless, I would like to lighten up this baby some...

BFH or RBFH
Either will work at least once.
