Hi all, i have just picked up a z61t of ebay but it has issues, when switching on if i have an o/s /hdd present or not i always get the following message:
ERROR
Resource Conflict - PCI Serial Bus Controller on Motherboard Bus:15, Device: 00 Function:01
ERROR
Resource Conflict - PCI Mass Storage Controller on Motherboard Bus:15, Device: 00 Function:02
ERROR
Resource Conflict - PCI on Motherboard Bus:15, Device: 00 Function:03

Press <ESC> to Continue

After i press esc it does load the o/s & although only tested briefly seems ok

Could anyone offer any insight on if its a big deal or going to cause me further issues in the future?

I have contacted the ebay seller & he has asked what i want to do, not sure whether to ask for a part refund or see if i can return it?

Apart from this It also has a couple of broken keys, damaged bezel & a dead battery so it would need a bit more work to get it into shape & not sure if worth it?
To be honest these issues dont really bother me that much, i actually purchased because i am still rather old school with my old Sony CRT tv & sound system & fancied having a laptop (thinkpad obviously if at all poss) with S Video out to hook up to the tv & be able to watch streaming video etc & also play some music through. Might do a little browsing on it, but really just wanted something to meet my entertainment needs which it seems to do.

Only other option for my limited budget thinkpad wise would probably be a t4 series? Funnily enough i initially picked a damaged t42 up through a contact a couple of weeks ago to use for this purpose but then, Brainwave (cough, cough) i thought as it has the ati 64mb card it may not be best suited to this task  & as the z61 widescreen with better graphics came up i thought it would be in my interest to get that & move the t42 on.

Any suggestions are much appreciated guys Thanks
