Just came across an old (2002) scrollpoint mouse, was having an issue with the scrollpoint "wheel" being TOO touchy... a googling i went... 1st place i find... these forums:

http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.ph ... 69&start=0

It's in the seller section, and the guy hated it for it's sensitivity...

So, over to Lenovo, they of course make the same mouse now branded Lenovo (31P7405)... low an behold a logitech type mouse suite :)

http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc ... ite643.exe

Installed on XP, went to the mouse properties, and lowered the sensitivity :!:

Other notes:
- You can also use a standard wheel mouse driver and set the lines to scroll to "1"

- the rubbery coating was all sticky, removed it with some alchohol and a scotchbrite sponge... one of those yellow with a green abrasive pad ones.

- this mouse also has a 3rd button, I didn't notice it at 1st, it is above the trackpoint (I'm used to my wheel being a 3rd button)

Anyhow, just posting this info here for the next person who happens to google this mouse :)

Currently using this on my old ThinkPads (760XL) with the PS/2 adapter: 37L7324
