Power manager, switch off notifications and hibernating?

1)
Is it possible to switch off all notifications of the power manager?
In special I mean the notification bubble "Enable battery stretch", which is annoying for me.

2)
Is it possible to completely switch OFF shutting down or hibernating or Standby when battery is low?
(I know there is a danger of data loss)

I know it is possible to do both. You can create a customer Power Management scheme whereby you disable all standby timers to do #2. As far as #1 I believe that is a setting in power manager. You happen to have caught me on Linux at the moment, so maybe someone can be more specific...or you can wait until I am on W7.

I haven't seen a switch for #1. The only bubble I see is that one, and only that one when it gets to a low battery level. It goes away with a click, so it's not that bothersome.
