Battery life playing DVD

I need to select a notebook which can play a whole DVD on battery. Manufacturers' specs for battery life such as "Up to x hours" give hope but no confidence.

Any suggestions from your experience?

I changed my default, used, after-leasing battery to a new one - 9 cell. I use Windows 7, but it works for one hour only with Wi-Fi and browser...

Just picked up an ultrabay battery and it seems to work good. Only strange event is once the ultrabay battery is fully charged, the main battery...
