But go instead to

Tecty!
Guess they merged?
Probably domain expired on tecty.com and the owner moved it over to skinstyler.com to save costs?

Hello, I just replaced mine on a T420, so far I'm enjoying the same feel on my old T61 with this machine.
Thanks for the link!

has anyone tried this on a X230?How it went?
About skins, sometime ago I ordered one from here (dbrand.com) and it was very professional and fast shipped.
For example for XDA forums he has a coupon code and that stuff, maybe he could do the same with us, already asked =)

T430s should not be any problem, as it is the same touchpad as the T420s. The skinstyler folks are in Malaysia, and I would think that they would ship to Europe as well:

Has there ever been anyone who liked the textured touchpad? In myreading about the chiclet keyboards, it looks like some people like the new keys all right, but these bumps seem universally reviled.

The touchpad on the new W540 is smooth, which I like better than the rough textured touchpad on my W520.

I recently replaced the worn gritty touchpad on my Lenovo T420S.
For those wondering around this I have attached a pic.

Process was easy, and removing the existing skin remarkably easy. My pad was pre-cut according to T420S size.
I would recommend doing it - the old worn pads do look tacky.

Hi, does anyone happen to have the measurements for the T420 trackpad? I want to order a smooth replacement for my not too tech savvy friend who I know hates the dimpled touchpad.

A bit late, but this thread is still concerning current problems.
Has anybody tried to use a e.g. piece from a roll of self-adhesive (black or other color) vinyl, such as available in craft and DIY shops?
Or used a piece from a roll of good packing tape?
Either one should be cheap and plentiful to replace...
