T43 motherboard identification

Hi guys, I bought a T43 motherboard off eBay which showed it had the ATI graphics chip.

The one that turned up has a chip which looks different to the photo, can someone confirm, is this the Intel chip version?

Am I high or does the picture look to me like a naked Radeon X300?
If it were the iGPU board for T43 then there won't be a 3rd BGA chip there other than the north and southbridges.
The Radeon X300 used on T43 and R52 models typically come with a heat spreader but for some reason this one is missing.
Now this is still a hassle to deal with because T43 heatsinks are meant to be mounted on that heat spreader, and this chip is of a different shape than a Radeon 9600 that's naked on a T42 so you can't use that cooler either.
Without that heat spreader that graphics is gonna die in a matter of days

I agree that (1) It's a Radeon GPU and (2) its heatspreader is gone. Unless one can modify the T43 heatsink so that its GPU plate makes contact with (and applies pressure on) the Radeon GPU, it's gonna be toast in minutes, maybe even seconds.

Well an easier way is to donate the heat spreader off a dead T43 board with Radeon X300 which I do happen to have.
Let's hope RBS didn't just fool someone into opening a case on eBay while it's not seller's fault!
