Network connections Red X

My t42 will not go online, the Wi-Fi light is blinking but when I open network connections there's a red X in the wireless connection and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to get rid of it. If I search for my network it finds it just fine but obviously I can't log on I've tried the usual things but not much luck

i have R51 with the same issue, i suspect my WLAN card is defunct. you can try replacing it or using a plug-in wireless.

I have checked everything I can think of even tried changing things by using run but no luck

It was the network it would not connect to 5G
