gaming on the radeon 9000

just ordered my t42 and I was wondering how good the 64mb radeon 9000 is for games? I wont be using it for games mainly, its for development, but I do like to play star wars galaxies and battlefield 1942 from time to time along with counter strike source.... can this gpu handle these games?

Not made as a gaming machine, but should handle those games fine.

thats what I'm hearing... also is this the same card as the fireGL with dif drivers?

The 9600 has the same core, less memory.

Games work great on with my 9000. You should be fine for the most part.

It appears the 9000 has about a quarter of the capability of more modern cards.
