Delete backups--IBM Rescue and Recovery

#1 Post by fefrie » Thu Oct 20, 2011 3:40 pm

I've just discovered how to R&R my laptop which is very handy.

I have a backup image from IBM R&R, I would like to know how to delete it. It is stored on the hard drive somewhere.

In future, what I would like would be to restore the drive, apply any new updates/configurations, then save a new backup. deleting the old.

How do I go about deleting the old backup?

It's in a hidden folder on the root of your C drive called RRbackups.

Unfortunately, it's not there. Any other suggestions?

Well, it should be visible in the tool. Have you looked there?

Apparently it's a pretty complex situation.

I found it here:

Not really. Most of the advice in that thread recommends to do precisely what I've said.
