Flexview Question

#1 Post by Homer1987 » Wed Nov 09, 2011 8:24 pm

Hello all,

Today I purschased of E-bay a T42P 15" 2373-HTU.

The lookup on Lenovo confirms a 1600 X 1200 screen but does not mention Flexview.

My question is where their non Flexview 1600 x 1200 panels? I was under the impression all of these were FV.

I have another 15" t43 with a 1400 x 1050 screen 2668-93U that the Lenovo site did not list as Flexview but it in fact is, as shown in device manager. This was a nice unexpected suprise after the purschase.

This was my first Flexview display and the difference is quite a bit better.

Now I can't wait for my first "p" model with 1600 x 1200 :D .

On T4x and T6x series, every UXGA screen was a FlexView, as was the case on A30p, A31p and R50p as well.

The only ThinkPads with UXGA LCDs that were not FlexViews were A21p and A22p.

Enjoy those fine ThinkPads!
