audio jack output on T42 in mV ?

I'm thinking of building a small portable stereo amplifier from a
kit to drive two 8 Ohm speakers - specs say amplifier
input should be ~ 300 mV, G = 27 dB, ~ 100 mV, G = 36 dB.
to give 2.4 watts per channel with 12 volts.(What does the ' G ' refer to ? )
Can't find any info on Lenovo site.

Maybe someone could just test the typical voltage output
on any similar laptop - my tester is too cheap.

G equals gain of the amplifier in dB?

With the T42 I got approx. 800 mv peak to peak, or 282 mV RMS. Very similar output with the T20. Using a TEK 212 scope.
