strange windows explorer @ 100%

hi folks, as the title says I've got strange explorer @ 100% CPU usage on my t42 with winxp pro. I saw the problem occurs only when my skype is active ... if I am using imo.im, there is no such thing. Any suggestion(this is with any skype ver and clean winxp installation). Thanks !

UPDATE: this problem shows up even without skype online ... just not so much.
