DVD-RW vs DVD+RW on T23

Looking to buy rewritable media so that I can burn on my desktop and read on my T23. I can easily find 4x DVD+RW but I dont know if my T23 wil read it. Im having a tuff time finding anything faster then 2x on DVD-RW but im under the impression that -RW is more compatible? Any recommended brands?
