Battery Indicator blinks forever after BIOS upgarde

On my T21 I just upgared the BIOS to the latest version. Immediately after doing so the orane battery indicator blinks all the time. My battery appearas to work just fine, charges fine and has expected battery run time.

Any idea how to turn this off? I can't find anything on IBM or google.

Is it an original (OEM) IBM Battery?

it is a replacement battery i bought direectly from IBM a few months ago

Call IBM Service. Sounds like a problem with the battery circuitry. The battery has a 1 yr. warranty.

I just might do that...it just seems odd that it started blinkling literally as soon as the BIOS upgarde was done. I was plugged in at the time.
