T42 palmrest compatibility

Are T42/T43 models without a fingerprint reader able to take a palmrest with a fingerprint reader?

Welcome to the forum!

While all T43/p models will take a palmrest with FPR, very few of T42/p units have a motherboard that supports it.

The Board Room (see link in my signature) has a T42 mobo in stock, that can take FPR.

I suppose I'll have to forget the fingerprint reader then (not willing to swap motherboard just for FPR). Thanks very much for the information.
