R52 Mobo inside T42 case?
Does a R52-Mobo fit inside a 15inch T42 case?

Re: R52 Mobo inside T42 case?
Yup.
R52 board requires different CPU and RAM from a T42!
You will also need a T42 long fan (M10) if that R52 mobo has ATI graphics (use short T42 fan for Intel gfx) and an R52/T43 PCMCIA cage; the R52 fan is too thick, and the T42 cage does not have the eXtended PCMCIA slot.
If you also want 1394/Firewire (if that board has it), you will need to make an opening between PCMCIA door and fan exhaust.
And you need to modify the fan to accommodate the 1394 port (only available on some R52 cages).
If you need an R52/Intel mobo, I can help you.
PM me if interested.

Re: R52 Mobo inside T42 case?
Was going to post the same as RBS (the expert with these boards)!
Just to add that I know the boards he is offering are refurbished with reballed chips and so will represent better value and longer working life.
